As we fight to end hunger in the Greater Philadelphia region, we need your voice to aid us in raising awareness and ending hunger for good.

Federal nutrition assistance programs are essential to ensuring a healthy America. Most food assistance comes from the government in the form of programs like SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, but families know that these programs are only as strong as the support they get – and that’s why we need voices like yours. We know that congress has slashed necessary funding to programs like SNAP, and we know that that makes more hungry children, families, and communities.

Advocates are essential in convincing our legislators to vote for the funding that is necessary to keep supplemental nutrition programs up and running, and ensuring a healthy, thriving population. If you believe no one should go hungry, then join us.

Were your SNAP benefits electronically stolen?

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) recently announced that recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) who have had their benefits electronically stolen on or after October 1, 2022 will now be able to replace their stolen SNAP benefits through federal funds.
