Carla Clanagan, Share’s Montgomery County Program Director, has been appointed to the inaugural leadership team of Montgomery County’s newly formed Food Policy Council. She was also named an associate member of the Montgomery County Commission for Women.

Gov. Shapiro is calling for $38.5 million to continue the state’s Universal Free Breakfast Program for 1.7 million PA kids and cover the full cost of lunches for 22,000 students who qualify for reduced-price lunches.

Share Food Program has been selected as a charity partner for ACME Markets Foundation and will receive donations from its annual Nourishing Neighbors campaign which helps to ensure every child has access to a healthy breakfast. All donations made at 13 ACME Markets Foundation stores throughout Delaware and Montgomery Counties will be used to help Share Food Program ensure that all children can receive nutritious breakfasts, through our work managing the National School Lunch Program across the region, and our partnerships with food pantries serving our region’s families.
