Share Food Program is proud to partner with—and distribute food to—nearly 400 pantries, nonprofits and community-based organizations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Together, we’re able to bring hundreds and thousands of neighbors nourishment and wellness resources.

Check out some of our partners below for more information on their services, hours of operation, and ways to join in building food security for all.

Second Antioch Baptist Church

“Second Antioch is an amazing pantry, always finding ways to give people healthy choices and wraparound services like health screenings and vaccine clinics.”

Philly Pantry Program Director Madeleine Weko

Second Antioch is also now hosting free nutrition classes taught by Health Promotion Council! Classes are held the first and third Wednesday of every month through April, 10:30-11:30am. Participants can ask questions and engage in discussion during each class’  healthy cooking demo, and will leave each session with a new recipe, resources and a useful tool for cooking at home.

📆 Pantry open Mondays 11am-12pm, Wednesdays 12-2pm, Saturdays 9-11am

New Hope AME Zion Church

New Hope AME Zion Church has been a Share partner since 2022, and since summer 2023 they’ve been expanding their reach even more through their on-site community garden. Garden volunteers grow produce—like cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, and melons—that is then distributed at New Hope AME Zion’s pantry.

“I recently visited New Hope AME Zion and Rev. Eugene Branham gave me a full tour of the site. He expressed he was originally very unfamiliar with gardening—he grew up in South Philly and only knew of concrete on the ground. He decided to get the ground dug up in the back of the church and have members of the church participate in gardening and create some raised beds. Now he plans to expand the land even more after seeing the positive impact the garden has done for visitors as well as the volunteers who run the site.”
