Donate Food

Share Food Program resources hundreds of partners and tens of thousands of households across Greater Philadelphia every month. We welcome food donations of all kinds and sizes and receive paper products, diapers, and household essentials, too.

To schedule delivery of palletized donations to our warehouse, contact retaildonor@sharefoodprogram.org or call (267) 990-2163. For large donations, Share may be able to send a truck.

For time-sensitive, perishable, and/or vehicle-sized surplus food from retail and nonprofit organizations, as well as general inquiries about food drives, contact Philly Food Rescue at (267) 218-4800, (215) 223-2220 ext. 131, or retaildonor@sharefoodprogram.org

Looking to host a food drive? We suggest using the Find Food Map to locate a pantry that partners with Share or a community fridge in your area. This can help your closest neighbors and make things efficient for you for delivery. If you anticipate this event being on a larger scale than a local food pantry could handle for donations, please connect with jmiller@sharefoodprogram.org to discuss transportation or other storage solutions.

Individuals may also drop off food and hygiene product donations anytime at the Share Community Fridge at 2901 W Hunting Park Ave. (between Lots A and B across from Mercy Tech High School). Contact fridge@sharefoodprogram.org for more information. You can also bring donations to any of our other community fridge partners around the city.
